Turbine Pumps

Fairbanks Irrigation sells and services all makes and models of vertical turbine pumps. Vertical turbine pumps are highly efficient for producing large quantity of water for the application being designed. These pumps range in sizes from 6-10 inches generally. Most turbine pumps are either water or oil lubricated and can either have open or closed impellers in the bowls.

Turbine pumps are controlled by electric motors or gear drives. Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) are becoming more popular due to the efficiencies of controlling a turbine pump. A VFD controller will soft start a pump and can maintain the constant pressure needed for the application being designed.
